someone is killed with a gun every six hours in North Carolina?  That’s 1,416 people per year*.  Gun violence touches every community.  In NC, not only are our existing good gun laws constantly under attack, but there has been no bi-partisan support for new laws that would save lives. That is why NC Against Gun Violence Action is so important.

NCGV Action and Black Lives Matter

In NC, Black men make up less than 11% of North Carolina’s population, but account for 58% of the state’s gun homicide victims*.  These are disturbing statistics and we cannot continue business as usual when it comes to guns in North Carolina.

NCGV Action is a 501 c(4) charitable organization that is affiliated with NCGV Education Fund. NCGV Education Fund is a 25 year old organization with a rich history of educating our communities about gun violence.  Like other 501 c(4)s, donations to NCGV Action are not tax deductible.
